Learn Thru Play: Decorate-It-Yourself Donuts

Hi, just saw this bunch of pictures from our past activities and thought would like to share it with you so you can also do it for your mom and kid activity bonding next time. This activity will surely be loved by kids because of its open-ended play while having fun.

Though we purchased a mini donut kit before, I know that there are bakers who sell mini donuts nowadays and you can just request for a plain one and separate the decorations. We got 3 different kinds of spreads: strawberry, chocolate and vanilla. We also got 3 different kinds of toppings: chocolate chips, marshmallows and sprinkles. This can help you with being creative and incorporating colors and textures with your little one. 

I let my daughter decide how she would like her donuts to look like. It can be messy but I assure you that it will be worth it. I myself had fun decorating it and we enjoy eating it together as our snack in the afternoon. It is affordable too!
