Lolo's Place Batangas: Pasta Meals to Love

The last time I set my foot at Lolo's Place was January 2018, along with my husband and my dear cousins from Arizona. I've been there for a couple of times because it's the nearest restaurant in my place. There are many food choices, I even happen to attend to one of their event, 7th birthday of my Godchild.

Their renovation is over when they invited me to try their new additional menus too. I was giddy excited because they will be serving different pasta now. Of course, my favorite Halo-Halo will still be on top of my list. Needless to say, I am also excited to taste their improved sisig, which is one of my favorite food. 

I bring my co-bloggers this time, so they can also taste the goodness that Lolo's Place has to offer. 

One of the best gesture, attending to customers and guests is what Lolo's appeal to be different from other booming cafe and restaurants here in Batangas City. Whenever they knew someone would visit, they always find a way to have atleast a small chit chat with them. 

They line up the pastas, ensaymada and our Halo-Halo for a treat.

Their best seller Halo-Halo is still on top of my list and my most recommended whenever a friend ask me what to eat and what to expect at Lolo's Place.

Lolo's Place also serves different types of sandwiches which goes along with a pasta plate.

Ham & Cheese (Excellente Ham with Cream Cheese)

They even add up the Sisig upon knowing that another guest, husband of Myx is also fond of eating sisig just like me. What a lucky day for us! The sisig is even improved if I have to compare it with their sisig before. I like version of it now!

Sizzling Sisig

My personal favorite goes to Caldereta Pasta. I am not really into Caldereta because here in Batangas, a Caldereta is a bit spicy, flavorful and has thick sauce perfect combo for a plain, hot white rice. I was surprise that it also blends well with a pasta!

I also love how soft and fluffy the ensaymada is. If served hot, it compliments well with a coffee. I might consider buying a box of it some other time for merienda and breakfast in our home.

The alluring white background of Lolo's Place and the wide veranda is like setting foot on a Lolo's Ancestral House. It's like visiting your grandpa on Sundays. That's the feeling I always felt whenever I set my foot on Lolo's Place, seeing the rocking chair, different sets of tables and chairs, the warm fresh air and the simple plating they got and serve for you.
