Hills Cafe Batangas

After being hiatus for months, fulfilling my role as a wife and mom, I was giddy excited upon reading an invitation for a food tasting activity at Hills Cafe, a new cafe in town serving not only delicious but healthy foods. I also get to know bloggers Zai, Mirriam, kabatang admins Kuya Oli and Ate Jobz and was glad to cross paths again with Sir Mark (Istayl) who was our wedding photographer before.

While Mikee (owner of the cafe) share us how Hills Cafe started, I was amazed and admire her passion to divert her knowledge and fullfil her dreams of owning a cafe. With the norms here at Batangas City where in every corner there is a burger, she simply put up a venue different from others. She didn't fit in, she stands out and cater not just the regular ones but also aims to serve healthy affordable meals.

I took photos of their interior design too. Classic since in ever corner there are frames and flowers and even if the area is small, it appeals to be inviting plus the music is really soothing to your ears that makes you wanna stay more. I still can't imagine how they manage to cook those dishes in just a small kitchen but with the fantastic staff they have and delicious meals, I bet they will be always on the list of must try cafe in town.

Food arrives and I was delighted that we got to taste their breakfast meals, different types of chicken tenders, four choices of juice and three kinds of pasta. Take a look of what they prepare for us.

These two are my personal favorites! I love how they paired up sausage and pancakes as well as the tocino with scrambled egg. Both compliments with each other.

Not a fan of omelets but these two is perfect for a quick breakfast. I love the potatoes and the buttered bread though.

The Honey BBQ is just the way I want it. The sauce is really good and it is perfect for the chicken tender!

Atlast! I got to taste their carbonara and I must say that it's a balance of creamy and not too salty sauce. Even the pesto is a must try for pasta lovers out there!
