2013: Year in Review

Facebook now has this feature wherein you can go back and take a look at my biggest moments on Facebook. I really considered this year as a blessed one because I've been receiving such blessings from God above despite all the hurdles in life I'm facing since last year. Guess I've been good that I even received such rewarding and priceless treasures in my life. Help me track down memory lane.

January 6 - Closing the distance. Even though my husband takes his yearly vacation, waiting for him is like waiting for a long time. This was our photo taken when we get back together after a year :)

The best thing about long distance relationships is that
you know you will see that person in real life one day.
When that day comes it's the best day ever.
January 28 - "Pulungan". This is a tradition wherein your fiance will ask your hand in marriage to your parents. Although both sides already know our wedding preparations, still this is needed to know what else is needs to be set and finally both sides are able to talk to about the nearly much awaited wedding day. Oops, I don't have the picture because I kind of forgot to take some!

February 11 - "1000 Days". I must admit that I am really obsessed with dates! Forgive me but I always see to it that I have something for my beloved every month (monthsary), a surprise to make him happy even if we are apart. That way I can send some love from Philippines to KSA. But on our 1000th day, we are together and a few days back we have our pre-nup photo.

And all along I believed I would find you...
Time has brought your heart to me
I have loved you for a thousand DAYS...
I'll love you for a thousand more ...

February 23 - "The Wedding". I have come to realized that two persons who are really inlove to each other can't be separated and a wedding is just the first step to a lifetime and endless love. I DO really means a LOT. As it is not just a pledge, but a lifetime commitment to your partner.

They say nothing lasts forever, we proved them wrong.
Long Distance Relationship works!
March 23 - "A blessing". After our marriage, I decided to asked for a blessing at Caleruega Church, attended a mass with my new family (husband and his fambam). And before my husband left for work abroad, I take the PT kit to see such miracle we never expected. I was expecting!

A baby is a ʙʟᴇssɪɴɢ, a gift from Hᴇᴀᴠᴇɴ above,
a precious little ᴀɴɢᴇʟ, to ᴄʜᴇʀɪsʜ and to ʟᴏᴠᴇ.
October 20 - "I am now a MOM". It was July 18 when the doctor confirmed that our baby is a girl. I was really happy beyond knowing that our baby is indeed a baby girl since I really wanted it but still, I was advised to have a 2nd opinion because the baby gender might change but I guess I have the "mom instinct" that this is really a baby girl in my womb. So came due date, a baby girl is born! I named her after my husband (Adrian), "Adrienne Isobelle" which means Adrienne a feminine form of Adrian; and Isobelle God's promise.

Bye bye Hotel Uterus, hello world "Adrienne Isobelle",
our precious baby will soon call us Mommy & Daddy
November 14 - "A blessed birthday". I know for a fact that my husband is really wishing for a baby ever since we got into a relationship. NO KIDDING! He really wants to be a dad at his age and I was like, "Are you sure enough with that? Eh first girlfriend mo kaya ako, so I expected a bit na baka nga hindi tayo in the end, kasi syempre, boys will be boys. But now I believe that a guy can really be a man. :) Here's what I made last month for his birthday.

Well, those are just some of the precious moments I had this year and beyond that I just can't find the words to share them with you guys. But if you are listed on my facebook friends, I am so sure that you always see my updates regarding my life as a mother and as a wife. I'm an open diary to my friends! Hope you like what I share here and Godbless everyone! May we all have a blessed 2014 next year!
