La Virginia Escapade

I was browsing my old pics till I saw my folder "Escapade - La Virginia". Then I scan the pictures and I suddenly miss taking a vacation and spend some time with my family and cousins. It'll be next summer again I guess. I visited this place twice already and I still haven't zoom the whole area as the first one was just a plain visit and the other one, I wasn't allowed to roam that much because of my condition (pregnancy risks). However, I was able to take some pictures of some area but I can't post it all here! Sigh! If you are listed on my facebook friends, then you can see my photo album there.

La Virginia Hotel and Resort is located at Brgy. Manggahan, Mataas na Kahoy, Batangas. It is one of the tourist spot and most likely used by companies for retreat, recreation, team building and even caters special events. When we first visited the area (2012), around 2PM in the afternoon, we don't have a parking space already. There are so many visitors because of peak season but luckily we were able to save some spot and a table because my cousin (Engr.) who used to have a project there is given a privilege and he also needs to speak with his colleague about another project. We were not able to swim too as we just have to spent a few more hours before heading back home so we quickly roam the areas nearby and take photos.

This is the hanging bridge at La Virginia Resort, my cousin's project :)
This year we were able to spent our summer escapade here along with my mom, my brother and my cousins. It was unplanned but I was glad we were able to manage to visit the place again. I was excited to take pictures at places we haven't been before. But due to my condition, I wasn't allowed to roam that much. So I haven't roam the whole place again. I guess a day is not enough too, because the vicinity is too large! If you are going to take pictures with the whole areas attraction, then you can't enjoy swimming. It should be separated from your itinerary. The entrance fee is a bit pricey and seeing the place is really worth it. If you will have to go there, it will be best if you tag your family along or in a group.

Here's another picture of me and my mom!
This is one of the kiddie pool and located just near the entrance and exit gate. Behind us is the statue of Iron Man and Capt. America. You can also see the castle which is not fully built but not yet accessible for room accommodations. Last year the castle is still under construction. There's another pool above the kiddie pool (see the face carving). The pool was too deep and I can't swim that well so I just stayed for like 5 minutes just for picture taking too. *grins*. I could have posted other pictures but it isn't enough in just one post. *winks*. It was really a great summer venture and my last escapade since I'm expecting. Hope to visit the place again with my hubby and my baby.

Until we meet again SUMMER :)
