Octadix Diner Grand Opening

We have been invited at the grand opening of Octadix Diner located at Mabini St. Batangas City. It is the old location of Sweet Kirsh. The owner Ms. Katherine who is also the owner of the first Hello Kitty themed salon at Epicenter Balagtas recently find her new venture on opening up a restaurant.

Octa which means 8 in french and Dix which means 10 is simple how they derived the name of the diner. It offers a wide variety of menu from classic rice meals, ala carte filipino dishes, pasta and shakes. You will be surprised that they offer affordable menus which is already inclusive of drinks. 

Among the rice meals that we are able to try are the following:

Pork Grilled Belly

Pork Kebabs

Grilled Pork Teriyaki

Chicken BBQ is my top favorite among the rice meals we've tried. Malasa ang marinade at malaki yung serving. Actually it is already good for two, you just have to order an extra rice. At the cost of Php119 it is already inclusive of blue lemonade and with atsara.

At the opening they served unli pastries and sweets so I also grab the opportunity to take them home for my sweet Isobelle. I love the pastillas and the cupcakes! Some of it were made by Ms. Kat and others are offered by her good friends in her baking group.
