BOOK: Truth or Date (Better Date than Never)

Rating:  || Price: FREE at Amazon || Pages:  190 || Format: ebook

I was able to finish this book last night until 3am, when I fell asleep at all, and I must say that it is indeed a good read. It's the 2nd installment of the "Better Date than Never" series written by Susan Hatler. If you want to know about the 1st series, you can check out my review here: Love at First Date. I find myself sobbing at 3am because I can't help but feel hopelessly romantic after the "confession" scenario of the main characters. If you're into love stories or chick lit, I bet you'll love this one too!

Truth or Date is a 190-page Kindle edition I bought from Amazon for free. Written by Susan Hatler, an international bestselling author who writes humorous and emotional contemporary romance and young adult novels. The main characters here are Gina, who abandoned her decade-long relationship with George just because she feels like the guy doesn't have plans to have a family with her, and Chris Bradley, who's kind of a dateaholic since he's known for dating every single girl in the company.

For us women, all we wanted was to have a guy whom we could spend our lives with for a lifetime, to have kids with, and to have a long-lasting relationship. But unfortunately, Gina can't see this possibility with her 10-year boyfriend, George. They were already living together, but the guy didn't propose, while her friend Ellen (Love at First Date) is about to marry her boyfriend of less than a year. Gina has this "truth or dare" game every time, and she ended up with a dare to move out of the apartment she and George used to live in only to land at Kristen's apartment, one of Ellen's bridesmaids. The truth or dare game also led her to date Ethan, a friend of Kristen, since the girls think that Gina really needs to have one soon after her devastated, wasted-decade relationship.

Just when she's about to get to know Ethan, Chris enters the picture asking her for a date (again, it's a part of her truth or date game!) and plays this little "in a relationship" role-play to keep off Chris from the girl who flirts with him. As the role-playing continues, she realizes she's falling for real, and before she falls again for a guy who's known for being a chick magnet, she needs to push the STOP button.

Will she ever find the man of her dreams with Ethan or go insane and brace herself to commit a mistake again with Chris? It's for you to find out. Go grab the book and enjoy reading!

Note: If you want to have a copy of the book, contact me and I'll send a copy for you. :) You don't need to have a Kindle to read it. You can download the Kindle app for PC or phone for FREE.
