How to Avail Foodpanda PWD Discount

The Foodpanda app is a lifesaver for us whenever we crave something to eat or even when we need something to buy in an instant. But recently I discovered that we can also avail discounts using the PWD ID that my daughter is bearing. We don't regularly dine out, but every month I make it a point to treat her to food that she likes to order in the comfort of our home. So when I learned that we can use her PWD ID for her food cravings, I asked their customer service, followed the instructions, and availed of the PWD discount in my account.

1. Open your Foodpanda app

2. Click "Account"

3. Click "Help Center" and choose Senior Citizen and PWD Discounts

4. Select "How to apply for Special Discounts (Senior Citizen and Person with Disability)"

5. Look for the application form to fill out. Make sure that your Foodpanda app name is the same with the PWD ID holder. I have to change the name of my account under my daughter's name since it is required with Foodpanda even if I am the guardian/parent who is ordering thru the app. 

6. Get ready with the valid PWD ID, I was also asked to upload my valid ID and I think that was because my daugther is still a minor. 

7. Once everything is set, wait for 2-3 days for verification and approval of the account.

Our application got approved last September 9 and since then we are availing the PWD Discount for our orders instead of the Pro subscription. 

Not all restaurants offer PWD discounts, but for me it still helps since most of the time we order food for my daughter and for her consumption.
